Here's everything you need to know...
The Wallenpaupack Church Missions Team is organizing this trip to provide hands-on support to Light + Life Park, a retirement community in Florida that was devastated by the recent hurricane. This trip is an opportunity to show Christ's love in a tangible way to those who have dedicated their lives to serving the church.
3 Ways to Help
Where/What
Light + Life Park is a FM retirement community, home to 170 older adults, many of whom are retired pastors. 12 residents lost everything, including their vehicles. If you have facebook, you can see/read about the destruction here. We will be helping with demo and cleanup.

An Important Reminder
At times like this it can be easy to ask, "Why?" or question God's goodness. Those are natural reactions from living in a broken world. Even Jesus asked, "My God, why have you foresaken me?" (Matthew 26:46) while He was on the cross. That means we have a God who understands what we and they are going through. All of it. God doesn't promise a strife-free life, but He does promise to be with us in it. We are not alone.

- When troubles come, consider it an opportunity to grow your endurance. -James 1:2-4
- God is our refuge and strength, and an ever-present help in trouble. -Psalm 46.1
- Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything. -Philippiams 4:6
