We would LOVE to have each and every adult who attends our church also be part of a grow group. Truly, we mean it!
We offer & participate in grow groups to foster healthy spiritual lives centered around the study of God's Word.
Grow Groups focus their attention in three ways:
1. upward: toward God
2. inward: toward each other
3. outward: toward others/the community
Grow Groups are groups of up to 12 people who meet for up to about 12 weeks at a time throughout the school year. New groups/vacancies open up each semester (Sept, January, and April). Group members are encouraged to stay in the same group each semester, but have opportunity to switch between semesters in order to find the group that best meets their needs.
Once a group is "full", our hope would be for that group to continue to grow in their relationship with God and one another until God raises another leader within the group and that person steps away to step into that new role. At that point, their vacancy would be made available to someone else! In order to best steward the resources God has blessed us with, we are passionate about not just creating grow groups, but creating groups that create groups!
Although grow groups will always have a "study" to focus on, groups will also pray, worship, serve and spend informal time with one another over the course of a semester.
Our pastoral staff prayerfully chooses the topics/studies offered & supports each leader in their facilitating and shepherding roles. Please contact us if you feel led to facilitate a group. We will come alongside you and get you geared up to lead the next time groups are offered.
Modest materials may be necessary, but we never want their cost to preclude someone from participating. Simply sign up for your preferred group and email us at [email protected] so we can make arrangements.
