A cord of three strands is not easily broken. -Ecclesiastes 4:12
What are Four-Twelve Groups?
Four-Twelve Groups are neither a traditional small group nor a typical accountability group. The primary curriculum is the lives of its participants, joined together in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. These groups consist of 3-4 people who read together, pray together and meet together. If a group would ever exceed 4 people, our hope would be that the group multiplies into two smaller groups and invite other(s) to join.
1. Four-Twelve Groups Read Together
Though a Four-Twelve Group is not a Bible study group, one of the ways they band together is through reading a common text. There are many ways to go about reading together. What matters is finding a way to get on the same page of Scripture together. The common text does not function as the centerpiece of the group, rather it serves to further connect the group's members. There are a variety of reading plans available on You Version or RightNow Media. Pastors Helen and Ken are available to help choose plans if needed.
2. Four-Twelve Groups Pray Together
Our commitment is to watch over one another in love, to be for one another, and to encourage one another and build each other up. Ongoing prayer life is a fundamental and foundational way we nurture these commitments. Four-Twelve Group members are prayer partners. They open and close their sessions in prayer and pray together whether they are actually together or not.
3. Four-Twelve Groups Meet Together
A Four-Twelve Group has not fully formed together until it is regularly meeting together. Meeting together is the most critical component of the Four-Twelve Group experience. See the FAQ doc below for more on meeting together.

Who is a Four-Twelve Group for?
Anyone who desires to grow in love for God and neighbor. It is for those desiring to share life on a deeper level with a few others looking to do the same. It is for those who wish to share joys and burdens, pray and be prayed for. Most importantly, these groups are for ordinary, everyday people who face real life and want to journey with real people. Four-Twelve Groups are designed to be men only or women only.
What if I am already in another type of study or small group?
Our hope is that your Four-Twelve Group is complementary to other groups you are involved with. Likely, this group will be smaller than those other groups and with a different focal point. By the nature of being small, it gives greater opportunity for you to share about your life more personally. Four-Twelve Groups are not intended to be a replacement for other types of groups. Some who are already in a larger Grow Group or class may choose to form Four-Twelve Groups from within those contexts. This can be an effective way to go deeper and try out Four-Twelve Groups from within a Grow Group or Starting Point class structure.
