Opportunities to Serve

There are many ways in which to serve God and His kingdom.  We encourage you to consider what may be a good fit and contact us below for more information on how to get started.  Most people serve once a month, but there is no obligation. We can work with you based on your availability.  Want to try something new...don't worry, we will show you what to do!

Get started by letting us get to know you by clicking here!

Sunday Mornings
Setup Team - 8:30am arrival
This is one of the most important teams that help us prepare each week.  Start off by helping unload the trailer, place the chairs, then setup the communion table and banners.  At the end of service along with the help of the closing team, help take supplies out to the trailer.

Closing Team - 10am arrival
Want to sleep in?  This is the job for you...come in at your normal time, and stay after service 15-20 minutes to help pack up and set supplies out by the trailer.

Coffee Hour - 9am arrival
Do you have the gift of hospitality?  This is a great area to serve.  Bring in a snack or two, set out the baked goods and prepare the coffee, then welcome our guests with a smile!  After service, pack up the table and you are good to go!

Sound - 8:30am arrival
Not sure how to run the sound board?  No problem, just like all of our other tasks, it's very simple and we are happy to teach you.  You will come in, setup sound equipment, test the mics and make adjustments during the service.  After service, pack up the sound equipment and roll out to the trailer.

Media - 8:30am arrival
This is another area that like sound...is misunderstood.  There is no prior experience needed. The program is fairly simple, and we can train you on it in a matter of minutes.  Come in, setup the projector, connect the computer and run the slides during service.  No need to input, all the material is on the computer waiting for you.  At the end of service, just pack up and you are all set!

Usher - 10am arrival
This is another task that doesn't require any setup or cleanup.  You are off duty until it's time to collect the offering, then it is your time to shine.  Graciously collect the offering, place on the altar and pray over the gifts that we have been given.  Easy-peasy right?

Welcome Team - 9:15am arrival
This person works closely with our greeters to setup the information table, then welcomes our guests and shows visitors the snacks, information table, bathrooms and where the Greenhouse is located.  You will serve as their contact to make them feel welcome. At the close of service, provide our guests with a warm goodbye and put away the information table.

Greeter Team - 9:15am arrival
This person works closely with our welcome team to setup the information table, greet our guests with a friendly hello and pass out the bulletins as they enter for service.  After service, help the welcome team put away the information table.

Ministries
Greenhouse Children's Ministry
Have a heart for our kids?  Then the Greenhouse may be the place for you.  Our Greenhouse helps our children see the beauty of God's love and works to strengthen their relationship not only with God, but with their peers.  There are opportunities for small group leaders and assistants in all age groups.  (Interview and background checks required)

Small Jobs Crew
The Small Jobs Crew assists those in need with general maintenance projects and repairs, outdoor yard cleanup, indoor painting, deck painting, minor structural repairs, raking leaves, trimming shrubbery, etc.  No experience?  There are plenty of tasks needed with no experience necessary.
